My first computer - 1989.
If my memory don’t fail me, it was a IBM Clone AT286 @16MHz, 2MB RAM, 42MB HDD and a 5 1/4 Floppy Drive, Hercules Video Card. MSDOS 5.0 as OS. Monochromatic (14”?) Amber monitor.
It was a High-End machine at that time in Argentina (I live in Buenos Aires).
That beauty taught me a lot. Also played some great games (Stunts, Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Covert Action).
Fantastic machine, it still works as a lightning control unit for carnival floats!!!.
It’s not my photo, but was my first computer. It came with this really cool wallpaper of a cow surfing.
